Will Big Law Firms Crush Small Personal Injury Practices?

Can small personal injury law firms survive in an industry that seems to be increasingly dominated by big firms? The industry seems more and more divided into Small Law v. Big Law.

It can feel like there is an endless supply of big personal injury firms. They are advertising on TV, radio, and billboards, and they are opening offices in new cities and states.

But despite what appears to be the growth of big personal injury law, I personally think that there is plenty of space for small law firms to not only survive, but to thrive as well.

There are always going to be people who prefer to hire a smaller law firm, and even those who are indifferent can be reached by small law firms.

But you cannot just sit back and expect the phone to ring. You have to be proactive. You have to take ownership of your marketing.

If you don’t, you’ll find yourself applying for a job at one of the big law firms.
